🔨 Crafting Guide
NPC recipes, timed crafts, boosters, and the craft inventory bag
🎯 Overview
Crafting lets you produce items through NPCs and the NewCraftDialog. Recipes are defined in .txt files with success chance, gold/material costs, duration, required tools, unlock flags, and class/level/quest gates.
📋 Recipe Requirements
Chance %
Base success rate defined per recipe (default up to 100%).
Materials & Gold
Ingredients, optional wood/minerals/herbs/meat costs, and gold fee.
Duration
Timed crafts run in the background; 0 duration = instant craft.
Tools & Gates
Required tools in inventory, unlock flags, class, level, and quest prerequisites.
✅ Success Formula
Final chance = recipe.Chance + CraftBooster.Effect + (CraftRate × 5), capped at 100%.
- CraftBooster items add flat bonus % when allowed on the recipe
- CraftRate stat (gear, guild buffs, etc.) adds 5% per point
⏱️ Concurrent Crafts
Up to 8 Active
Run up to 8 timed crafts at once (MaxConcurrentCrafts).
Survives Logout
Craft progress persists — timers keep counting while offline.
Instant Crafts
Recipes with 0 duration complete immediately on success roll.
🎒 Craft Inventory
When unlocked (via an item with Special effect type 17), you gain a dedicated Craft Inventory bag. Materials stored here can be used automatically by crafting NPCs, keeping your main bag free.

💡 Tips
Stack CraftRate
Guild buffs, gear, and consumables that raise CraftRate each add 5% success per point.
Unlock Recipes
Some recipes stay greyed out until you complete quests or earn the required unlock flag.
⌨️ Commands & How to Open
Use these chat commands (type in chat with @). Commands are not case-sensitive.
How to Open Crafting
- There is no
@craftchat command — crafting is opened through Craft NPCs in town / designated areas. - Use the craft dialog to pick a recipe, pay materials/gold, and start a timed craft (up to 8 concurrent).
- Unlock Craft Inventory with the special unlock item (item effect) so materials can go into craft storage.
- Craft Boosters (inventory items) raise success chance when you craft.
